So here I am, it is now 2:20 in the morning. My 3 year old son is "washing" the dishes...and I am about to mop the floor for the 5th time in the last 24 hours. I just finished wiping the deodorant off the walls, and the furniture...
He does it while you watch.....I swear. All the while, giving that cute "what you gonna do Mommy?" smile. After chasing him down the hall, I finally got it away from him without him screaming and waking the whole house up.
All I want to do is go to bed.
Speaking of bed, wish my son would go to sleep. I wish I could sleep for 2 hours and have the energy he has!
Even when he was a baby, he never slept. My husband thinks all I do is sleep. I wish! Up all night, up all day. I may get a few hours of rest in between...If I am lucky. That is when nobody knocks at the door or shows up unexpectedly (mother in law, bless her heart), the dog doesn't have to go out AGAIN, my older son isn't rambling about Pokemon, or my hubby is not complaining about something being lost or the living room being a mess again..
This is my life. Endless chaos, messes, meltdowns, things breaking or mysteriously disappearing (like the cell phone that got recycled, or the one that got flushed down the toilet...) The handle for the bathroom still hasn't shown up after 3 weeks (we use vice grips to open it), and there is not one Wii game or CD that has managed to stay in it case and stay there...
I have found some things in odd places though. Like tooth brushes in the printer, or batteries in the toaster, or rice cakes in the speakers...
Well, guess I should go and re-wash the dishes now...The water has just been shut off so guess he is done.
:p Later, Maria
